DaVita Inc. is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in the healthcare industry. As a Patient Care Technician, you will work closely with our experienced healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care and support
  • Monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Recording patient data and observations
  • Setting up and operating hemodialysis machines

You will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with our cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other experienced Patient Care Technicians.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfort working around blood and needles
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexibility to work across multiple facilities within the territory as needed

Healthcare experience is a plus, including certifications such as BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
