Job Title: Director, Human Resources

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Human Resources to join our team. This is a key leadership role that will partner with our Supply Chain organization to drive business performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support our business goals, as well as providing coaching and development to our operations leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Supply Chain leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with functional business leaders to drive business initiatives aligned with organizational strategy
  • Act as an exemplary HR and business role model for the organization, leading by example with impeccable standards and high levels of integrity
  • Provide trusted advice to management and employees on all aspects of employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary action
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that attract, develop, and engage talent in a performance-driven culture
  • Lead in the space of organizational design, talent assessment, and succession
  • Educate leaders and build processes that ensure policy and legislative compliance
  • Build and nurture strong working relationships with functional leadership through regular coaching and support
  • Contribute to the development of tactics, processes, and policies to drive functional goals
  • Lead HR-related change initiatives within the organization, ensuring that employees are engaged and supported through transition
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Well-versed in US and Canadian employment law and compliance
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Forward-thinking with proven leadership success within a Human Resources function in a large matrix and complex organization
  • Ability to influence, lead change, and role model positive behaviors that drive business performance
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to listen and synthesize information
  • Authentic, confident, positive, results-oriented, and highly accountable
  • Experience in labor relations and positive employee relations
  • Travel required for approximately 25% of the time
