At Milton CAT, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers.
Responsibilities:- Assist customers with parts ordering and research technical data for correct parts.
- Monitor and close open sales orders and purchase orders, as well as perform administrative tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service, both in-person and over the phone, using a polite and timely manner.
- Process customer and shop orders, backorders, credits, and quotes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Look up parts using computer programs for CAT and other brands we service.
- Handle cash and credit payments and returns according to procedures.
- Resolve customer issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced PC skills with the ability to learn and teach others.
- Strong verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and basic math skills.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced distribution center environment.
- Prior industry experience, particularly in the automotive industry.
- Basic mechanical ability and knowledge of CAT and other brands we service.
