Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring efficient processing of merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Operations: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by ensuring merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
  • Inventory Management: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, and ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, and ensure all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area are met.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provide progress updates.
  • Customer Service: Engage and interact with all customers, and provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Superior communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
