At Pratt Retail Specialties, we're seeking an experienced CDL A driver to join our team as a Waste Management Flatbed Driver. Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and safety-conscious CDL A driver to operate a roll-off truck in the Conyers, Georgia area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience as a CDL Class A driver, with a proven track record of safe driving and excellent customer service skills. This is a full-time position requiring the ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Operate a roll-off truck safely and efficiently, ensuring the delivery and collection of roll-off units in a timely manner
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards
  • Check material for quality and conformity, ensuring that all units are properly loaded and secured
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and execution of delivery and collection services
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and other relevant metrics to optimize fleet performance

Requirements

  • CDL Class A license with a minimum of five years' experience as a commercial driver
  • Safe driving record, with no accidents or serious offenses in the past three years
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and physics
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed
