Our Nashville Campus offers comprehensive programs in Radiography and Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and we are looking for a collaborative individual to join our faculty.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in delivering instruction and support to our Imaging students. This position involves engaging with clinical sites to assess student performance and strengthen our partnerships within the healthcare community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate clinical education through assigned didactic instruction as directed by the program director.
  • Assess and enhance the quality of clinical experiences for students enrolled in specific modalities.
  • Assist the Clinical Coordinator/Director of Clinical Education in delivering clinical instruction and documenting student progress towards clinical competence.
  • Foster strong connections and serve as a liaison between clinical facilities and the college.
  • Design clinical rotation assignments, lesson plans, and schedules.
  • Maintain comprehensive clinical records, including grading calculations.
  • Review and update performance objectives to ensure meaningful clinical learning experiences.
  • Initiate evaluations of clinical instructors and sites by students each term.
  • Provide guidance and counseling to students as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching, scholarship, and service.
  • Travel to clinical affiliates to monitor and evaluate student performance, with flexible travel requirements of 1-2 days per week.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • ARDMS credentials in multiple modalities are mandatory, with a preference for Abdomen and OB/GYN certifications.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional delivery, and student counseling is essential.
  • Possession of relevant credentials specific to the offered programs is required.
  • A minimum of two years of full-time experience as an Imaging professional is necessary.
