Job Summary

Sleeping Dog Properties is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for managing all phases of architectural design development from inception to installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to determine requirements for building projects
  • Prepare detailed drawings showing both the appearance and interior structure of a building project
  • Direct staff in the development of project drawings, studies, and budgets
  • Visit building worksites to ensure work is being done according to architectural plans
  • Coordinate design fulfillment drawings from interior designers and outside architects
  • Coordinate third-party engineering to integrate into design work
  • Develop and manage construction and design drawing sets
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in architectural design

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in residential architectural design projects
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Design Manager, and Microsoft Office (Excel), Procore
