Pediatric Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Fellow

The Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our pediatric palliative care team as a fellow. This 12-month fellowship program offers interprofessional training in various clinical settings, with a focus on symptom management, communication, and advance care planning.
To be eligible, candidates must hold a Master of Science in Nursing and be board certified or eligible in relevant specialties by the start of the fellowship. The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
As a fellow, you will have the opportunity to work alongside two physician fellows and one social work fellow in an interprofessional program that emphasizes collaboration and teamwork. You will receive mentored clinical supervision on PACT across settings, including inpatient, outpatient, community, and bereavement care.
The fellowship includes didactic sessions throughout the year, focusing on the fundamentals of palliative care, such as symptom management, communication, and advance care planning. You will also have the opportunity to participate in educational/training sessions together with adult interprofessional palliative care fellows.
Requirements for the position include a Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program and certification in Pediatric Primary Care, Pediatric Acute Care, or Family Nurse Practitioner.
