Pediatric Palliative Care Fellowship Opportunity
Boston Children's Hospital invites applications for a Pediatric Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Fellowship. This 12-month fellowship provides advanced practice nurses with the opportunity to develop their skills in pediatric palliative care, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The fellowship includes mentored clinical supervision, education and training sessions, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Fellows will participate in intensive summer didactics that focus on the fundamentals of palliative care, including symptom management, communication, advance care planning, and working on an inter-professional team. They will also engage in regular educational/training sessions throughout the year, developing their skills in pediatric palliative care. Additionally, fellows will contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to pediatric palliative care within the hospital.

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program, be board certified or board eligible by January 31st, 2025: Pediatric Primary Care, Pediatric Acute Care or Family Nurse Practitioner, and licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse in Massachusetts prior to the start of the fellowship in July 2025, with the authority to prescribe controlled substances to all ages. Prior experience as a nurse or nurse practitioner is preferred.
