Job Summary:

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports for our commercial real estate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports for approximately 10-12 properties, including land investment, construction & development, retail properties, multi-family, and office.
  • Review payables, receivables, billings, and cash receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform bank/account reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Provide financial information to auditors, tax consultants, lenders, property managers, and joint venture partners.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, recoveries, 1099, and sales tax returns.
  • Process annual property tax bills and coordinate tax return preparation and distribution of K-1 to partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Heavy Excel knowledge is required, with experience in financial reporting and commercial or residential/multi-family real estate experience.
  • Yardi experience is a plus but not necessary.
