Family Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Paragon Infusion Centers. As a clinical expert, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced infusion center environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, and company policy and procedures.
- Complete admission process as directed by Center Director.
- Perform physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis.
- Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed.
- Document all pertinent data in the patient's medical record.
- Report all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and be responsible for the follow-up on any problem identified.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the IV team on patient status and observations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times by abiding by HIPAA laws and regulations.
- Evaluate the patient's response to therapy and document this finding in the medical record.
- Educate patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.
- Participate in the Quality Improvement program.
- Ensure that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up to date prior to treatment.
- Participate in On-Call program, which may include after-hours, weekend, and holiday calls and visitations.
- Provide clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and may also support new market launches.
- Requires an MS in Nursing and a minimum of 2 years of related experience with clinical emphasis for nurse practitioner; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with IVs required.
- Current, active, valid, and unrestricted NP license to practice as a healthcare professional within the scope of license in applicable state required in applicable state required.
- Requires active, current, and valid Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.
- Multi-state licensure is required if this individual is providing services in multiple states.
- Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.
- May require extensive travel to worksite and other locations as necessary.
- Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience with IVs strongly preferred.
