Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Installation Specialist to join our team at Lawrence Fabric & Metal Structures Inc. As an Installation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install Lawrence products on customer sites, adhering to our quality and safety standards.
  • Review CAD drawings to identify necessary hardware and materials for installation.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management department to perform measurements and complete field surveys as needed.
  • Apply paint and touch up hardware after installation, ensuring a professional finish.
  • Follow engineering requirements specified on drawings and fit fabric over frames, stapling or adhering them before leaving the shop.
  • Load materials safely onto trucks and trailers, adhering to DOT regulations.
  • Perform custom installation and anchoring tasks, including basic electrical work, welding, caulking, and carpentry skills on-site.
  • Ensure safety measures are in place and used at all times, and maintain trucks and trailers in good condition.
  • Read and interpret company job tickets, identifying issues prior to product departure and performing quality control checks.
  • Communicate effectively with Plant Manager and Project Managers on scheduling, due dates, and issue resolution.
  • Promote coordination with PM, Welding, Paint, Sewing, and Completion departments.
  • Maintain DOT certification and complete OSHA 30 training.
  • Work as a team player with a strong work ethic and motivated attitude.
