  3. Work collaboratively with marketing professionals to align County marketing efforts and increase awareness.
  4. Maintain a repository of up-to-date marketing materials, utilizing modern technology to showcase user-generated content across digital platforms.
  5. Develop and manage social media channels to foster relationships with potential clients and attract group business.
  6. Provide logistical support at travel shows, fairs, and other promotional events.
  7. Implement assigned tasks from the marketing plan to achieve departmental goals.
  8. Continuously promote the attractions and events within Geary County.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a marketing role or similar capacity.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to maintain professionalism in various situations and effectively resolve issues.
Work Environment

This position primarily operates in an office setting, with occasional off-site responsibilities. The role requires regular attendance and engagement with the community.
