Job Summary

The Instrumentation Program Engineer is a key member of the GE Aviation team, responsible for managing instrumentation requirements on military and commercial engines in Development Assembly & Component Test.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage instrumentation requirements and cost on engines and additional information requested through a Test Project Sheet (TPS)
  • Interface daily with Instrumentation, Design, Systems, Assembly, Engineer, Evaluation, Test, Tooling, and Project Personnel, as well as the Hourly workforce
  • Engage in activities that assist in the scheduling and execution of development engines, focusing on Integrity, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Overall Cost Initiatives
  • Interface with software tools such as IDS, IWS, eTPS, Open Plan, Digital Thread, Intelligence, Digital Workbench, VIS mock-up, and various access databases
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Process and Equipment
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain clearance
