About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team at Hydro-Green. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and servicing irrigation equipment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and load equipment for daily tasks
  • Drive to client locations to perform installations and maintenance
  • Conduct soil and vegetation assessments to determine irrigation needs
  • Map out irrigation areas and dig trenches for pipe installation
  • Install pumps, electrical timers, and other equipment
  • Test irrigation systems using computer software
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues
  • Complete progress reports and associated paperwork
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician
  • Knowledge of irrigation and electrical timer systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of plumbing is a plus
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • Understanding of soil, vegetation, and climate
