Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Services Representative at Excel Fitness. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, promoting our Judgement Free Zone, and ensuring a positive experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch service to members, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Club Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized club environment, ensuring that all areas are tidy and well-stocked.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Operate the point of sale system efficiently, handling transactions and providing members with a seamless experience.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available and that stock is replenished as needed.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on the latest products and services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the management team to achieve business objectives, providing input and suggestions to improve processes and procedures.
  • Community Engagement: Represent Excel Fitness at community events and outreach activities, promoting our brand and values.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Certifications: Must be CPR and AED certified, if not already.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamwork: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
Work Environment

This role operates in a dynamic and fast-paced fitness club environment, requiring the ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing circumstances. The noise level in the club environment may be loud at times.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing for long periods, frequent walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
