Clinical Psychologist

The Clinical Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services to children and families, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical child psychology and experience working with children and families in a mental health setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and adolescents to identify mental health issues and develop treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy to children and families to address mental health issues and promote healthy development.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, therapists, and community organizations to provide comprehensive care to children and families.
- Supervise and train non-licensed staff to ensure high-quality care and services.
- Document patient care in the clinical record according to regulatory agency guidelines.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program in clinical psychology required.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in mental health providing direct clinical services to children, including individuals with serious/chronic mental illness, required.
- Experience with DSM-5 Diagnostic Criteria, diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) preferred.
- Experience with DC 0-5 diagnostic criteria preferred.
- Current Hawaii License in Good Standing or on track to pursue licensure in the state of Hawaii.
- Specialized training in the assessment and treatment of children preferred.
- Experience working with a variety of children's mental health concerns preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
