Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nondestructive Testing (NDT) professional to join our team at Acuren. As an NDT Level II MT/PT/VT Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of critical energy, industrial, and public infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Conduct tests to detect discontinuities and defects using various NDT methods.
  • Establish and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Apply testing criteria and evaluate results to ensure quality and integrity.
  • Organize and report test results to stakeholders.
  • Perform specialized inspections and may instruct and supervise others.
Requirements
  • VT Level II: Minimum 3 years of experience in weld inspection, 2 years with VT II certification, 24 hours of documented classroom training, and 210 documented experience hours in VT.
  • PT Level II: Minimum 16 hours of documented classroom training and 210 documented hours of experience in PT.
  • A High School diploma or GED is required.
  • The ability to pass a nuclear security background screening, including a valid Driver License, birth certificate, and/or passport.
  • Must have at least 5 character references and complete work history with no gaps.
  • Radiation dose history is required, both year-to-date and lifetime.
  • Solid written communication and professional appearance and attitude are essential.
  • Ability to certify to MT is a plus, as is CWI or Level III credentials.
  • Previous unescorted access at a nuclear power plant is a major plus.
  • A willingness to travel is required, with typical assignments lasting 3-8 weeks, working 6-7 days per week, and 10-12 hours per shift.
