Chief Medical Education Officer for Obstetrics and Gynecology

Overview:
Northwell Health Physician Partners is seeking a Chief Medical Education Officer for Obstetrics and Gynecology to lead our residency program in Mount Kisco, New York. As a key leader in our Department of OB/GYN, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality education and training experience for our residents.
Salary:$250,000 - $300,000 per year
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have outstanding clinical and managerial skills, with a minimum of 5 years of experience after completing their residency. We prefer candidates with at least three (3) years' experience in a leadership position in OB/GYN residency education (Associate Program Director or Program Director). The successful candidate will provide oversight of the program to ensure regulatory compliance with the requirements of the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), its Residency Review Committee (RRC), and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
Responsibilities will also include:
- Oversight of the candidate recruitment process
- Management of the program's budget
- Review of performance measures and use of staff resources appropriate to the program's need
- Participation in the institutional graduate medical education committee
- Supervision of fellows, residents, and other trainees caring for patients under the auspices of the department

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with Hospital and Health System leaders to meet and exceed organizational goals. A strong understanding of obstetrics and gynecology, as well as experience with residency education, is essential.
