Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to support our practice operations team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong understanding of electronic health records (EHRs). As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting patients and family members with a friendly smile
  • Assisting with scheduling appointments and managing schedules
  • Verifying insurance eligibility and benefit information
  • Collections co-payments and patient balances
  • Providing accurate and timely information to patients and staff
  • Maintaining confidentiality of patient information

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience working in a medical front office position
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to travel to training workshops and other offices as needed
