Join our team at Community Based Care of Central Florida as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our patients by providing assistance with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide personal care services under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse
- Ability to follow a care plan
- Meal preparation/feeding
- Laundry
- Light Housekeeping
- Knows and follows infection control policies including proper hand washing techniques
- Reports any observed or reported changes in the client's condition and/or needs to the Registered Nurse
- Documents care provided and completes the forms required for the client's records
- Meet the training and/or certification requirements of the state in which the home health aide services are being provided
- Active and verifiable State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or Certified Nursing Assistant CNA certification in applicable state OR 1 year of supervised, verifiable experience within the last 3 years
- Be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care
- Good interpersonal skills and a passion for caring for those in need
- Current driver's license, good driving record, and/or reliable transportation is required
