Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will work closely with our clients to provide personalized support with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with all aspects of home and community life, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Ensure consistent safety and well-being of clients, including medication management and emergency response.
  • Provide a healthy and professional friendship, promoting socialization and engagement.
  • Support clients with personal hygiene and dressing, as needed.
  • Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
  • Shop, cook, and clean with clients, promoting independence and self-care.
  • Organize consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment, enhancing clients' quality of life.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience working with disabilities preferred.
  • Driver's license required, with reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a letter from a person and/or employer verifying experience.
