Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrician to join our team at LaborOne Staffing. As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on ships and in shipyards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical equipment.
  • Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting to ensure systems are functioning properly.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to understand electrical systems and make repairs.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces to access electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in marine electrical systems or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials.
Working Conditions

As a Marine Electrician, you will work in a fast-paced shipyard environment with exposure to various weather conditions, noise levels, and physical demands. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
