Hourly Wage: $18-24 DOE

The Safety Administrator will serve as the primary administrative person and assistant to the Safety Director within the COL Safety Department. This role will perform a wide variety of administrative and technical functions to support the delivery of safety program initiatives, including creating and maintaining accurate statistical records of injuries and accidents, and assisting with incident/accident data collection and transfer to the insurance carrier.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and updating safety policies and procedures.

• Schedule, coordinate, and conduct employee safety training sessions.

• Maintain and report incident trends to the Safety Director and HR.

• Maintain OSHA and DOT safety records and OSHA 300 log reporting.

• Intake, enter, and assist with workers' compensation claim management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Safety certifications are preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and certification of basic first aid, a valid driver's license, and a clear driving record. They must also pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Relevant work experience in OSHA, DOT, or Public Safety is required, as well as a strong work ethic and commitment to responsibly managing sensitive and confidential information. Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
