Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of employees, including participating in the recruitment, hiring, and training processes.
  • Plan and allocate work assignments effectively among direct reports.
  • Facilitate open communication regarding performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to job specifications and customer requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Implement and uphold 5S methodologies.
  • Oversee start-up approvals and authorize production runs.
  • Guarantee the quality of all products produced within the designated area.
  • Assign specific job duties to production team members.
  • Assist with personnel management tasks, including record-keeping and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for parts and components.
  • Prepare month-end performance metrics.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding any operational issues or concerns.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in production supervision.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in plastic injection molding or assembly.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good visual and analytical abilities.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to connect with employees at all organizational levels.
