San Francisco, California, United States Diamond Foundry Full time

Company Overview: Diamond Foundry Inc. is at the forefront of addressing the thermal challenges that underpin today's most innovative technology sectors, including AI & cloud computing, electric vehicle power systems, and advanced wireless communications. We have pioneered the production of the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are committed to embedding diamonds in every chip. As a rapidly growing and profitable unicorn, we have secured $515 million in funding and are executing a multi-billion dollar expansion strategy focused on one of the most sustainable forms of tech manufacturing: transforming greenhouse gases into diamond wafers utilizing zero-emission energy.

Position Overview: We are in search of an experienced leader in Supply Chain Planning with a minimum of 10 years of expertise in the semiconductor or consumer electronics sectors. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding leadership capabilities, strategic acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of sales and operations processes, along with extensive direct management experience. This critical role is essential for aligning sales forecasts with operational strategies to enhance inventory management and overall business performance. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement sales and operations strategies that are in line with business objectives, market trends, and customer demand within the semiconductor sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize goals and streamline S&OP processes.
  • Manage and refine inventory forecasts by leveraging historical data, market intelligence, and customer behavior.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancing efficiencies in demand and supply planning as well as production scheduling.
  • Lead and mentor a supply chain planning team, promoting continuous improvement while addressing supply chain risks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA or MS is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and operations planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management within the semiconductor industry is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and industry trends.
  • A strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and planning skills, complemented by excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and achieving results through effective S&OP practices. Experience managing mid to large teams is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities and proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Netsuite, SAP). Hands-on simulation experience is essential.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $200,000 annually. The role is eligible for company shares. Actual compensation may vary based on several factors, including the candidate's job responsibilities, experience, and expertise. Higher-level candidates will also be considered, and salary adjustments will be made accordingly.
