Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated apprentice who is eager to learn and grow within the trade. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about gaining knowledge and developing practical skills, participating in both on-the-job and off-site training, adhering to safety regulations, completing assessments, and fulfilling assigned tasks. Success in this role requires excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in various training and educational opportunities, including interim assessments.
  • Assist in departmental tasks while developing skills in the Thermal Energy and Manufacturers Representative industry.
  • Follow all safety protocols diligently.
  • Complete all required assessments, presentations, and evaluations.
  • Maintain an open mindset towards feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Communicate effectively with management and colleagues daily.
  • Travel to diverse job sites, including commercial and industrial environments.
  • Learn to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Commercial/Industrial Boilers and related thermal equipment.
  • Develop critical thinking and trade-related skills, as well as accumulate on-the-job training hours needed for licensing.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License required for driving rental vehicles; must pass a DOT physical for fleet vehicle operation.
  • Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles as per policy.
  • Exhibit a proactive attitude towards new challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Proficient with computers/systems; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Moderate to heavy physical activity with exposure to various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Stand, reach, bend, squat, push, pull, and move around the facility or job site.
  • Walk or stand for extended periods, often involving climbing ladders or steps.
  • Capable of using hands and following safety guidelines for tools and equipment.
