About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Clinical Operations Leader to join our team at Memorial Hermann Medical Group. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of our organization and ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

The Senior Clinical Operations Leader will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our medical group, including managing physician performance, quality and safety initiatives, customer service, operational efficiency, human relations, and network development. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader who is passionate about improving healthcare outcomes and driving innovation in clinical operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage physician performance, including reviewing data analytics, developing performance improvement plans, and coaching providers to achieve excellent results.
  • Lead quality and safety initiatives, including implementing evidence-based guidelines, monitoring patient outcomes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.
  • Develop and implement customer service strategies to enhance the patient experience, including working closely with regional directors and HR to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Drive operational efficiency through process improvements, lean initiatives, and supply chain management.
  • Mentor and develop regional directors, providing coaching and guidance on leadership skills, professional development, and credentialing requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Physician Network Development team to enhance network utilization, identify recruitment opportunities, and recognize outstanding quality, satisfaction, and operational excellence sites.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in clinical operations, leadership, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of improving quality and safety outcomes, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, influencing stakeholders across multiple departments and levels.
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and advanced analytics tools.
Salary Range

$140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
