Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at the River Bar and Grill in Grant. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving Food and Drinks: You will serve food and drinks to our guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all orders are accurate and delivered to the correct table.
  • Answering Questions: You will be able to answer questions posed by patrons about food ingredients and allergens, ensuring that our guests have a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Table Maintenance: You will help to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including busing tables and ensuring that all tables are available for the next guest.
  • Communication: You will communicate effectively with wait staff, managers, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and that our team is working together efficiently.
  • Promoting Events: You will promote current casino events and programs to our guests, providing them with information and directions to all casino areas.
  • Closing Tasks: You will perform regular closing tasks, including side work, set up, maintaining station cleanliness, and end of shift tasks.
Requirements
  • ABLE Certification: You must have a valid ABLE certification.
  • Cash Handling: You must be able to handle cash responsibly and accurately.
  • Math Skills: You must be able to calculate basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages, as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
  • Language Skills: You must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Teamwork: You must be able to work effectively as part of a team to support the success and enjoyment of our guests.
  • Previous Experience: You must have previous experience as a Server or Wait Staff.
