Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinician to join our team at Children's Home of Jefferson County. As a Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive clinical services to clients and their families, as well as clinical support to program staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct OLP/Intake Assessments and evaluations of Medical Necessity for youth referred/enrolled
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress toward treatment goals
  • Provide clinical support and mentorship to service providers/paraprofessional staff
  • Assist with staff development and regular evaluation of program staff
  • Participate in interdisciplinary staff meetings to discuss new cases and formulate treatment plans
  • Provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups using evidence-based therapeutic methods
  • Make referrals to health, social, vocational, and educational agencies and facilities as needed
Requirements
  • Licensure by the New York State Department of Education as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-R), or Licensed Psychologist
  • Training/certification in Functional Family Therapy (FFT) or other equivalent EBP
  • Strong organizational abilities and office skills
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work with diverse populations
  • Effective and excellent oral and written communication skills
Work Environment

This position requires occasional travel to local schools, conferences, and/or meetings, as well as moderate travel within the community to include off-site/in-home visits. The work environment is an office setting with a controlled temperature environment.

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, carry, push/pull, climb, bend, and stoop. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $60,405.80, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
