Job Title: Room Service Server

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Room Service Server to join our team at The Marcus Corporation. As a Room Service Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests by taking orders accurately, delivering food and beverages in a timely manner, and maintaining a clean and organized room service area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver room service orders to guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized room service area, including the dish room and public areas.
  • Sort and clean tables and trays to ensure equipment is available for future orders.
  • Requisition and maintain food supplies, including linens and cleaning products.
  • Perform side work, including opening and closing duties, to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow with our team is essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a hotel environment, with frequent exposure to food, cleaning products, and other chemicals. You will be required to wear comfortable, slip-free shoes and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
