Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medical Technician - Advanced (EMT-A) to join our team at Catholic Health Service. As an EMT-A, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients in prehospital settings
  • Assess patient conditions and prioritize medical procedures
  • Administer emergency medications and perform intravenous procedures
  • Transport patients to appropriate destinations
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to established protocols
Requirements
  • Current NYS Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician - Advanced certification
  • Current New York State driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Certification in CPR, PALS, and ITLS
  • Minimum of three years recent clinical experience in a prehospital setting
Working Conditions

As an EMT-A, you will be subject to internal and external environmental conditions, including considerable walking and standing during the tour of duty. You may be exposed to communicable diseases.
