As a groundperson, you will work closely with our experienced crew members to provide top-notch service to our utility company clients. You will be responsible for operating chainsaws, dragging and gathering brush, and servicing vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate chainsaws to cut brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees.
  • Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
  • Service vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to join local union and pay union dues.

Physical Requirements:
  • Standing, walking, manual dexterity, seeing distant, seeing, reading, range of motion, hearing-speech range, depth perception, climbing stairs, lifting up to 10 lbs.
