Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a skilled HRIS Support Specialist to join our team. As an HRIS Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and ensuring seamless operations.
About the Job
This is a support-level position within the HRIS organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and maintaining HRIS applications, including time & attendance and HCM programs, as well as other systems supported by the HRIS team. You will serve as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and ensure data integrity through configurations, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- HRIS Support - Develop, maintain, and support custom pay rule configurations, reports, and queries for both union and non-union environments using various time & attendance systems, Workday HCM technology, and additional tools.
- System Analysis and Enhancement - Conduct analysis, prepare business requirements specifications, design, plan, implement modifications, and enhancements to the HRIS system and other systems. Execute mass data changes in the core system, ensuring high data integrity.
- Problem Resolution - Provide support for HRIS, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Customer Support - Provide professional, timely, and accurate responses to inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction; distribute training materials to improve managerial efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resource Management, or other related field.
- Experience - 3 years or more in HRIS systems, preferably in Workday HCM system and Infor/WFM. Experience with systems implementation and project management techniques is a plus.
- Skills - Advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook; Cognos reporting/Apache Groovy programming; Workday HCM and Infor/WFM systems intermediate.
Benefits and Compensation
Salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, certain degrees or certifications, etc. Ryder offers comprehensive health and welfare benefits and paid time off for vacation, illness, bereavement, family and parental leave, and a tax-advantaged 401(k) retirement savings plan.
Travel Requirements
Yes, 0-10% travel.
