About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Precursor Targeting Analyst to join our Federal Solutions team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying, detecting, and monitoring illicit narcotics trafficking and associated networks globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor behavior patterns and activities of chemical precursors to develop drug trafficking organizations (DTO) tactics, techniques, and procedures for law enforcement use.
  • Identify, process, and profile illicit indicators associated with historic web-based IP communication transactions using a vast collection of information consisting of Intelligence Community (IC) data, Law Enforcement reporting, published papers, Signals intelligence, Geospatial Intelligence, and other classified or unclassified information.
  • Develop and/or recommend complex analytic approaches to problems and situations, including targeting methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage unclassified and classified systems to drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Top Secret SCI Security Clearance required.
  • Ability to perform analysis using multiple systems and indices; writing, editing, or producing technical/analytical products or reports; conducting research and analysis; data information management into a system of record.
  • Experience with aspects of Intelligence Analysis (e.g., target development, social media, social network analysis, metadata analysis, knowledge of customer tool sets and databases).
  • At least three years in chemical precursor analysis. Must have a demonstrated ability to leverage unclassified and classified systems.
  • Ability to develop and/or recommend complex analytic approaches to problems and situations, including targeting methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in counternarcotics and counter-TCO preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience with strong problem-solving and presentation skills. Analytically flexible and trusted as a subject matter expert.
  • Experience working with multiple intelligence disciplines, including Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT and the data and tools these disciplines utilize.
  • Trained and experienced in OSINT tradecraft (OS1 and OS2 equivalent).
  • Knowledge of analytic tools and products (e.g., Windward, Searates, Trade Databases, Panjiva, I2 Analyst Notebook, Managed Attribution SILO, etc.).
  • Digital Network Exploitation Analysis or Exploitation Analysis background.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of IC and law enforcement tools and databases.
