Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Club Vail. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and fire life safety systems to ensure the property is secure
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Respond to accidents, contact emergency services as needed, and administer first aid/CPR if required
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations and provide support as needed
  • Notify relevant personnel in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents
  • Defuse guest/employee disturbances and call for outside assistance if necessary
  • Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents
  • Handle all interruptions and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Resolve safety hazard situations and ensure the property is secure
  • Escort unwelcome persons from the property without disrupting the flow of operations
  • Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts and call for assistance as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No related work experience necessary
  • No supervisory experience required
  • No specific licenses or certifications required
