Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing MRI exams to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI exams in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for exams by obtaining and recording history, explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort.
  • Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality.
  • Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information as directed.
Requirements
  • ARRT Registration eligible.
  • Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program.
  • CPR required.
  • Previous MRI Technologist experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills required.
