Job Summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing MRI exams, preparing patients for procedures, and reviewing images to ensure optimal quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI exams in accordance with departmental standards and policies
  • Prepare patients for exams, including obtaining and recording history, explaining procedures, and positioning patients
  • Review MRI images to ensure optimal quality
  • Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups

Requirements:

  • ARRT Registration eligible
  • Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program
  • CPR required
  • Previous MRI Technologist experience preferred
