Job Title: OPS Certified Correctional Officer - Statewide

My Florida Corp Defunct is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated OPS Certified Correctional Officer to join our team statewide.

About the Role:

This is an open advertisement for OPS Certified Correctional Officer (part-time) applicants for Institutions Statewide. OPS Correctional Officers will be limited to no more than 25.5 hours per week, and must meet the following hiring requirements:

  • Must be certified as a Correctional Officer in Florida.
  • Must have an active certification in good standing.
  • Be at least 18 years of age (no age limit).
  • Be a United States Citizen.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Not have been convicted of any felony or of a misdemeanor involving perjury or a false statement, nor have received a dishonorable discharge from any of the Armed Forces of the United States.
  • Pass a medical examination and drug test.
  • Have a good moral character as determined by a background investigation.
Responsibilities:

As an OPS Certified Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the safety and security of inmates and staff.
  • Enforcing institutional rules and regulations.
  • Providing support to correctional officers and other staff members.
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities.
What We Offer:

My Florida Corp Defunct offers a competitive salary of $22.00 hourly and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
