Lead Educator in Quantitative Analysis

Position Overview: The Government Department at Harvard University invites applications for a full-time Lead Educator in quantitative analysis. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities including the instruction of three courses throughout the academic year, mentorship of undergraduate senior theses, and support in managing the undergraduate data science program.
Contract Details: This is a five-year appointment, with the possibility of renewal based on performance, enrollment figures, and curricular requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
- Candidates must demonstrate exceptional teaching abilities and have experience in tenured associate or full professor roles at a university or comparable undergraduate institution, accompanied by a robust scholarly record.
- A Ph.D. in quantitative analysis or a related field is required.
Additional Qualifications: The ideal candidate will also provide evidence of effective teaching in introductory undergraduate methods courses.
