Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Logistics Associate to join our team at Eastern Metal Framing of New Jersey. As a key member of our Logistics Department, you will be responsible for the direct receiving and processing of our products. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and verification of steel and non-steel products
  • Forklift operations
  • Accurate and timely processing of paperwork and data entry

Requirements:

  • Prior inventory shipping experience preferred
  • Motivated and able to follow instructions
  • Able and willing to work outside and in all weather conditions
  • Excellent integrity, good moral, strong character, initiative, and leadership
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with people from all levels and departments
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to use computers and software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Super Stud Warehouse Management System
  • Strong basic math background and aptitude
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to drive a forklift, after appropriate training
  • Ability to work on feet and lift up to 75lbs on occasion
  • Proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status by completing Federal Form I-9 in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986
