About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Operations Supervisor to join our team at Fairfield Residential. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall appearance and maintenance of our apartment communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate a diverse maintenance staff while ensuring high-quality work and prompt service to residents.
  • Schedule and perform maintenance repairs, including routine and emergency situations.
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure seamless execution of operational tasks and activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, respond promptly to their concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of experience in apartment or building maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
  • HVAC-EPA (Type II) certification required; Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management software.
