Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to become a vital part of our engineering team. In this role, you will be tasked with the development, design, and testing of mechanical systems and products. Your expertise will play a crucial role in creating a diverse range of products utilized across various sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
- Utilize engineering principles to create products such as engines, instruments, controls, and robotics.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project scopes and objectives.
- Employ CAD software and drafting tools to create prototypes.
- Analyze test results and modify designs or systems as necessary.
- Supervise the manufacturing processes for machinery and equipment.
- Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project development and design phases.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Apply Finite Element Analysis for product testing and design improvements.
- Use Matlab for advanced mathematical computations and simulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other design software.
- Strong grasp of fundamental concepts in mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, and structural analysis.
- Advanced capabilities in Engineering Design, Project Engineering, and Product Design.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis and Matlab.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
- Proven track record of successful project management.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is advantageous.
