Universal Banking Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Universal Banker to join our team at TrustBank. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, and promoting bank products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage cash transactions, including opening and closing the bank, balancing cash and vault funds, and processing night deposits.
- Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently, including running transactions, issuing and redeeming certificates of deposit, and cross-selling bank products.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, obtaining credit reports, and determining product suitability.
- Stay within compliance guidelines when opening and closing accounts, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including attending bank meetings and educational seminars, and representing TrustBank at community functions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school education and the ability to master on-the-job training requirements.
- Experience in sales, relationship management, and cross-selling skills.
- Proactive thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Cash handling skills and the ability to perform detailed work with accuracy.
- Technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn the bank's data processing system.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a range of hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, Fridays until 6 PM, and a minimum of two Saturdays a month. The position requires standing, walking, and using hands and arms to perform tasks, as well as the ability to lift 25 pounds and work in a moderate noise environment.
