Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Admissions

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) Admissions, you will provide high-quality clinical services to patients in various settings within the community. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver patient care within our organization's philosophy, policy, and standards of community health practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various settings, including assessment, teaching, treatment, documentation, and care coordination.
  • Perform admissions process and case management responsibilities in accordance with MGB Healthcare at Home's policies and standards of practice.
  • Utilize thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communications to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
  • Current Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of one year previous nursing experience in an acute care setting, with prior home care experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with various computer software and knowledge of hand-held patient care computer devices.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and adapt to unpredictable circumstances.
