Overview:
Allina Health is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services across a network of clinics and hospitals. Key Position Highlights:
- Collaborative primary care team consisting of Family Medicine Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and Internal Medicine Physicians.
- 36 patient contact hours per week, ensuring ample time for quality patient interactions.
- Participate in an on-call group for Family Medicine with Obstetrics.
- Outpatient practice catering to patients of all ages, including families.
- Clinic operating hours: Monday and Thursday from 7:15 AM to 7:00 PM; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:15 AM to 6:00 PM; closed on weekends.
- Utilization of Excellian, a leading electronic health record system.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with patients to enhance their health and overall wellness.
- Practice with sensitivity to cultural diversity, individual rights, and legal obligations.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach in managing patient care.
- Employ quality improvement methodologies to refine patient care processes and outcomes.
- Participate in peer evaluations and quality assurance initiatives.
Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or equivalent international training required.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified with ABMS or AOA.
- Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain one.
- Ability to secure and maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Meet credentialing and hospital privilege requirements as applicable.
- ACLS-BLS Tier 3 - Multisource certification required within 180 days.
Physical Requirements:
Medium Work: Lifting up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently, adhering to safe patient handling policies.
