Role Overview:

The Azure M365 Engineer will be the go-to expert for all aspects of Azure services. With a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, this position will focus on implementing and designing solutions within the Azure ecosystem while adhering to the principles of least privilege access.

In this role, you will manage and resolve assigned cases and change requests, acting as a point of escalation for complex support issues.

The Azure Engineer will leverage innovative solutions through research and teamwork, collaborating with various IT departments to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and engineer enterprise-level Azure solutions, including Group Policy Management and Azure AD Hybrid for incident management and access control. Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and service enhancement. Lead Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management initiatives for Azure-related issues. Serve as the primary escalation point for domain technology challenges that exceed tier one and two support capabilities. Oversee multiple projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines. Conduct daily system monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of all Domain controllers and Active Directory resources, while reviewing system logs and Azure Health. Enhance existing processes for Conditional Access Policies. Improve the Compliance Scorecard within Azure. Participate in on-call rotations for critical business outages and contribute to Disaster Recovery processes. Document processes and mentor team members on best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Over 5 years of experience in IT Systems Engineering and Active Directory. At least 3 years of experience with Azure Active Directory. Proficient in Zero Trust Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Group Policy Management. Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange (Hybrid) and Quest Active Roles Server (ARS) is advantageous. In-depth understanding of Active Directory monitoring best practices and Azure services. Extensive experience with infrastructure and server technologies, particularly VMware and Microsoft. Develop and enforce standards for Active Directory security procedures and access controls to maintain system integrity. Knowledge of GPO Administration. Professional Skills/Experience: Minimum of 7 years of overall IT experience, with 3-5 years focused on Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. Experience in a fast-paced industrial environment with a proven track record in engineering, deploying, and maintaining critical systems. Strong team player with a proactive attitude, excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Self-driven individual with attention to detail and sound judgment, capable of integrating feedback professionally. Familiarity with Project Management principles and Agile methodologies.
