The Azure M365 Engineer is responsible for delivering expertise in Azure technologies. With a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, this position emphasizes adherence to least privilege principles, providing comprehensive support, implementation, and design services for the Azure ecosystem across the organization. This includes managing directory and identity solutions while following best practices for security.The engineer will address and resolve assigned cases and change requests, serving as an escalation point for complex support issues.
The Azure Engineer will innovate and implement new solutions through research and teamwork, collaborating effectively with various IT departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design enterprise-level Azure solutions, manage Group Policies, and oversee Azure AD Hybrid for incident response, change management, and access control. Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Lead Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management initiatives for Azure-related issues. Act as the primary escalation support for domain technology challenges that require advanced troubleshooting. Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion. Conduct daily system monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of Domain controllers, Active Directory resources, and key processes, while reviewing system and application logs. Enhance existing processes for Conditional Access Policies. Improve the Compliance Scorecard within Azure. Participate in critical incident response and Disaster Recovery planning. Document processes and mentor team members on best practices.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in IT Systems Engineering/Active Directory. 3+ years of experience with Azure Active Directory. Familiarity with Zero Trust Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policy Management. Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (Hybrid) and Quest Active Roles Server (ARS) is preferred. In-depth understanding of Active Directory monitoring best practices and Azure functionalities. Extensive experience with infrastructure and server technologies, particularly VMware and/or Microsoft. Develop, document, and enforce standards and security procedures for Active Directory and Azure access. Knowledge of GPO Administration. Professional Skills: Minimum 7 years of overall IT experience, with 3-5 years focusing on Microsoft Identity technologies, including Active Directory and Azure AD. Experience in a dynamic industrial environment with a proven track record in engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining critical systems. Strong team player with a proactive attitude, demonstrating leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and sound judgment, capable of both leading and following. Understanding of Project Management principles and familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies. Benefits:
