Transforming Lives through Autism Education

At Alpine Learning Group, we are dedicated to providing innovative autism education and treatment programs. As an Educational Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in assisting our experienced teachers in implementing individualized skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatment programs for learners enrolled in our day education program.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the arrival and dismissal of students, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day.
  • Reinforce instructional and treatment programs developed by the classroom teacher, using evidence-based ABA techniques.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe learning environment, adapting to diverse educational settings such as classrooms, playgrounds, and field trips.
  • Analyze high volumes of student performance data, utilizing this information to inform instruction and drive progress.
  • Evaluate learner performance and contribute to the development of effective instructional and treatment plans.
  • Manage assigned learners throughout the school day, addressing their unique needs and promoting inclusivity.
  • Collaborate with teachers to design and implement engaging, data-driven lesson plans.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and injuries, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and families.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree (or equivalent credits) or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and willingness to adapt to new tools and platforms.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practices and cultural competence.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement plan options, tuition reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.
