Key Responsibilities- Layout sheet metal components, including ducts, hangers, and other necessary parts
- Measure and mark dimensions for field installation, ensuring accuracy and precision
- Drill holes for screws, bolts, or rivets, and install sheet metal with supportive frameworks
- Field fabricate or alter parts to meet site requirements, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Sketch duct fittings and maneuver large sheet metal ducts and parts, showcasing mechanical aptitude
- Fasten joints of ducts together for a complete heating, cooling, and ventilation system, ensuring a high level of quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- HVAC sheet metal and installation experience, with a valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- OSHA 10 Certifications desired, with the ability to read and understand blueprints
- Knowledge of the construction industry and documentation, with working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to operate a forklift and/or scissor lift, with a strong commitment to safety and quality
- Integrity, honesty, professionalism, and commitment to company values
- Self-motivation, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and high standards of quality with attention to detail
- Ability to build positive working relationships with multiple internal and external customers
Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English.
